Our soaps are not certified organic, however, we use only pure vegetable oils in the formulation of our soaps. We have NO parabens, NO added chemicals or petroleum-based products. Our fragrances are designed specifically for soaps and cosmetics with NO phthalates.
NO!! Some of the fragrances we use contain considerable amounts of vanilla. Any soap that has a vanilla-based fragrance WILL TURN BROWN over time! It a natural occurrence and there's not need to panic. Your soaps are still good!!!
It sounds counter-productive but it's best to keep your soaps dry between uses. Use a soap dish that will allow it to drain so that the water doesn't "melt" the soap. There are no chemical additives in the soap to keep it hard when sitting in water. Move the soap away from an area that receives direct shower spray and allow it to dry and you'll extend the life of the soap significantly.
There's nothing worse than your soap slowly disappearing and having to throw out the last sliver!! By using our Simply Body Soap Net, you can keep these slivers until they are completely dissolved. Just add a new bar of soap in the net and keep washing!!!
Nope! While we don't recommend keeping the soap in your car during our brutal Florida summer, the soaps will not melt into a pile of goo in the heat. They may turn color if left too long in the sun as we don't use any UV inhibitors but they will still clean you in the shower or bath.
Palm oil is a large part of our soap formulation - it creates a creamy, hard bar of soap with many qualities that we look for in soap-making. We use only RSPO certified palm oil in our products. Read more on this initiative here: https://rspo.org/certification
Our soaps do not contain any added harsh chemicals or irritants so many people with sensitive skin can use them. However, some people are super-sensitive to any sort of fragrance regardless of the level of skin-safety. Always keep an eye out and check your skin...discontinue use immediately if any rash or itching occurs.
Our products are natural but they are NOT tear-free! Soaps that are considered tear-free have chemicals added to reduce irritation if the lather ends up on your eyeballs. Steer clear of your eyes when lathering up, people!!!
We love color!!! Our soaps are colored with oxides, pigments and micas that are skin-safe. They impart our gorgeous colors but sometimes are not white-washcloth friendly. Red is a difficult color to achieve in soap and high amounts of pigment is necessary to get a true red. This color especially will bleed out onto light colored washcloths and probably will stain them permanently.
